Overview

Dutch Barn Vodka came to me wanting a sticker sheet with attitude. Something millennial and gen z coded that could work as a physical sheet but also break apart into individual graphics for emails, social posts and campaigns. Basically stickers that earn their keep long after they've been peeled off.

The Brief

The ask was a range of stickers full of personality, mixing fun illustration with the kind of copy that makes you snort into your drink. Think out of office energy, canned cocktails for lazy b*stards, and a firm no to hopping on a quick call.

The characters

I sketched a little cast of fruit characters to match the canned cocktail flavours, a raspberry, a pair of cherries in sunglasses and a ginger root, all hand drawn and full of retro charm. They started as pencil sketches, moved through Procreate and were built out properly in Illustrator so they can flex across print and digital.

The outcome

A fun new set of brand assets that can keep growing over time, already popping up across Dutch Barn's socials and email graphics. The stickers have even made their way onto portable cooler boxes as part of Dutch Barn's collab with Ninja, which is not a bad life for a sheet of stickers. The client feedback says it best: "LOVEEEE" and "these are so fking good."
