Overview

Happy Soul already had great bones, a logo with heart, a name that says exactly what it is, and a brand that clearly meant something to the person behind it. What it needed was more to work with, more ways to show up, more ways to say the same thing across different formats without it feeling repetitive or stretched.

The Brief

Brand development to expand what already existed, more logo variations, a standalone mark, full colour palette, custom illustrations and a wider font range so the brand had enough in its toolkit to work across labels, socials, packaging and everything in between.

The idea

Development briefs are some of my favourites because the creative thinking is already half done, you're just giving the brand more vocabulary, and with Happy Soul that meant a standalone heart mark with the HS monogram, custom flower illustrations built for their labels, and a considered font range that gave the brand room to breathe across different applications without losing the warmth of the original.

What they got

Expanded logo suite with variations, standalone HS heart mark, custom flower illustration set for labels, extended font range and brand development guidelines.
